Deon was appointed Non-Executive Chairman to JDSi in 2017. He has over 20 years’ experience in operational, management and executive positions with public and private companies involved in civil construction, land development, oil and gas and mining. Deon is a chartered professional engineer, registered adjudicator, graded arbitrator and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
David is a founding Director of JDSi and he has 19 years’ experience in a wide range of land development and civil infrastructure projects. David has gained significant experience in project management and contract administration with an extensive background in designing major subdivisions and infill developments across Western Australia.
Steven is a founding Director at JDSi with 20 years’ experience in civil engineering roles for large residential, commercial, and industrial subdivision developments throughout WA. His expertise encompasses project management, contract administration and superintendent roles for subdivisional developments. Recently he has focused on concept planning and providing engineering input into structure plans for several large developments, leading to developing strong relationships with servicing authorities and local government agencies.
Mick is a founding Director of JDSi and has over 25 years’ experience and expertise in investigation, planning and design of stormwater drainage, roadworks, earthworks, construction and contract supervision in mining, public works and urban development fields. Mick has previously held management positions within local government and senior positions in large private companies within Western Australia.
Jason is a founding Director of JDSi and has 27 years’ experience in civil engineering roles for subdivisional, infrastructure, and mining developments throughout WA. He has acted as a Project Manager and Design Office Manager in land development offices, major project offices, and within mining Joint Venture projects. Jason has expertise in the project management, contract administration and design of subdivisional developments and major infrastructure projects.
David is a founding Director of JDSi and has 19 years’ experience in a wide range of land development and civil infrastructure projects. David has gained significant experience in project management and contract administration with an extensive background in designing major subdivisions and infill developments across Western Australia.
Blair has 11 years’ experience in construction, civil design and contract administration across a wide range of civil engineering projects including multi-staged residential subdivisions, challenging brownfield redevelopments and major infrastructure upgrades. He has experience in all aspects of land development and civil engineering, including due diligence reporting, planning, design and authority approvals. Blair also has significant experience as a Superintendent undertaking contract administration works on numerous projects.
Bernard has over 35 years' experience in civil engineering design. He has designed civil infrastructure throughout WA, including bulk earthworks, retaining walls, road works, stormwater drainage, sewer, and water reticulation. He also has experience in overall estate servicing and project design reviews, as well as projects for Water Corporation. As the Design Manager at JDSi, Bernard is responsible for all projects from planning through to implementation.
Domenic D’Alesio is a senior finance professional who holds a Bachelor of Business. He has over 20 years' experience spanning financial analysis, accounting and reporting, payroll, billing, credit and corporate strategy. Domenic joined JDSi in 2011 and manages the Finance and Administration team as well as providing support to the Board and Executive Management Team.
Bernard has extensive experience in civil engineering contracting and construction where he has performed various roles during his career. He has over 19 years of experience with expertise in demolition, remediation, bulk earthworks, civil service and road construction, contract administration, project management and risk assessment in civil engineering associated with land development, public works and urban re-development fields.
Kaval has over 14 years’ experience in engineering consulting and specialises in managing land development projects in relation to traffic and transport interfaces, projects in the northwest of WA, and urban developments within the Perth metropolitan region. Kaval has encountered all phases of a project from master planning, feasibility and detailed design, to construction and clearances at project completion.
Grant has 14 years’ experience in design, construction and project management in civil and urban infrastructure. His experience includes structural and coastal engineering design in port upgrades for the mining sectors. Grant has worked extensively in design management, construction supervision and project management of civil infrastructure for urban development, related to the subdivision of land for residential and industrial use in WA with significant experience in both the Kimberley region and local regions of Perth.
Michael has 14 years' experience in engineering design roles for large residential, commercial and industrial subdivision developments throughout WA. His expertise encompasses three dimensional earthworks and servicing design using 12D Model, drafting using AutoCAD and MicroStation, as well as document control, and time and resource management. He has design skills in all aspects of land development including underground servicing, earthworks, roads and drainage, as well as experience in the mining and water sectors.
John has 35 years’ experience in the civil construction industry in Australia and overseas. With a mechanical background, he is also fully conversant with the safety and capability of civil construction equipment. John has extensive experience in remediation works, bulk earthworks, road construction, underground service and asset construction, subdivision construction, management of subcontractors, mining and tunnelling works. He has a strong history of working closely with local agencies and major mining companies, all with a focus on safety, quality and asset protection, while maintaining schedule and budget deliverables.
Norman has over 45 years of power utility and private sector consulting experience in the areas of power delivery, generation, logistics, and project management. He has been involved in some of Perth’s largest residential, commercial and industrial land development projects including design services, contractual and construction assistance, as well as operations and maintenance. Norman established the first pilot projects in Applecross and Albany during 1995 for the State Underground Power Project. His experience also extends to the mining and industrial sectors.
